About the Role

As a Strategy Consultant in Finance Transformation at IBM Consulting, you will lead and deliver transformative finance strategies for leading global clients. Working closely with CFOs and FP&A teams, your role will involve process redesign, operating model development, budgeting, forecasting, and the implementation of data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in pre-sales, solutioning, and advisory efforts
• Collaborate with CFO and FP&A teams to define planning, budgeting, forecasting strategies
• Design optimal finance operating models and process controls
• Manage full-cycle finance transformation programs
• Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting solutions
• Provide project oversight, timeline, and stakeholder management

Requirements:

• Required Education
• Master’s Degree (MBA – Finance preferred)
• Preferred Education
• Master’s Degree / Chartered Accountant from a premier institution

Required Skills & Experience:

• Business Skills
• Expertise in finance transformation, planning, analytics, and CFO advisory
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
• Experience handling client engagements independently under pressure
• Technical Skills
• Understanding of planning and analytics tools
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and ETL/data warehousing
• Experience in implementing finance and analytics solutions
• Relevant certifications are a plus
• Preferred Experience
• End-to-end finance transformation project exposure
• Client advisory experience with CFO organizations
• MBA/CA from Tier-1 institutions preferred
